Fantasia - A bit like our state fair! (only on a much smaller scale)

We saw this adorable little guy on our street on the way to the Fantasia! We had seen him in the morning also. The shepherd was herding them from the farm nearby to a pasture also quite close to our house. I thought the markings on him were so beautiful!

At first this guy waved his hand saying no photo and then he smiled and said yes!

Fantasia has all these beautiful horses. The men and horses are all done up in their elaborate costumes.

People surround the large field to watch. Fifty or more horses line up and begin running.

A cute little observer! :)

Then they go charging by us....

Then they shoot off their big guns!!!

Then they parade away and the next group lines up!! :)

There are hundreds of horses! I'm not sure if there is more to it than this or not. We watched for quite a while and saw the same thing over and over. Maybe different nights they do different shows....??  :)

Another cute bystander!! :)

Of course there were balloons.....

and fire trucks (just in case!!) ....oh and then there was this lovely guy that walked into my photo and did this disgusting act right in front of me! :) It's Morocco!! :)

They also have lots of booths that they are selling their wares. The ladies were very interested in the booths.

Candy (complete with bees) for sale!

Meat for sale..... (including the head and feet of a goat)! It's Morocco!! :)

These candies looked a lot like the little Valentine hearts I love in February, but they were full of bees, so I passed them up!

This guy is serving fresh squeezed orange juice. It was hot and we were thirsty.....right up until I saw how he washed the glasses.......he dunked them in a bucket of water. (really....that's it!)  :)

It wouldn't be a Moroccan celebration without a mint tea tent! :) It smelled so good!

They had games and rides for the men and kids.

This guy is roasting corn on the cob.

An interesting looking elderly man.

A park we walked by on the way home.

Beautiful colors on the way home.

The snails are on everything this time of year! This was a palm tree we walked by on the way home! :)
Then we got home and the adventure was over! :)
