Puddles on the way to work! The rainy season is headed our way....
Okay....Marcia heard about a new restaurant...
It is called Las Pedros (Mexican, right??)....NOT....they serve only pizzas! :) But we were told they were great pizzas, so thought we would give it a try. Well, we order 2 pizzas and 2 drinks (total of $5.00 for the two of us....ends up we have one whole pizza left over for tomorrow! So we both ate and drank for $3.00!!) Anyway, we get into the little place and notice they have a T.V AND the talking is in ENGLISH!!! We are SO excited because at our home we can only get the BBC news channel. The channel at the restaurant is National Geographic and the topic is killer dolphins. Turns out the dolphin is having a sexual aggression issue with the lady diver.....only Marcia could find a place that serves brick oven pizza and porno-dolphin T.V in the same place!
....... just kidding!! We were laughing at the whole scene. We loved the meal and entertainment!!
Well, one more day of teaching and then we are off for a four day weekend! We are headed to Madrid, Spain and soooo excited! I'm hoping to buy some warm clothes as I wasn't able to bring many with me.
I'm also excited that we get to see Brian and Kate Thuesen while we are there! It will be fun to see friends from back "home"!! Part of the reason for going is because we don't have our carte de s seour's yet and will get a hefty fine if we don't have them by next Tuesday. So....out of Morocco for the weekend we go!
One lonely fisherman on his way to the ocean. Check out the size of the pole! Huge!
The beach used to be filled with soccer games. Now soccer season is nearly over as the weather on the beach is getting cooler.
Question of the day:
Okay, anyone notice anything different about this set of silverware??
One spoon is TOOO BIG and one spoon is tooooo small......RIGHT?
The spoons here take some getting used to! :)
Makes me wonder where we Americans came up with the in-between-sized spoon.
You know....the JUST RIGHT one....!!??!! :)
I'm off to finish up grade for the first nine weeks! Wow....1/4 of the year has passed already! I have lived in Morocco for ALMOST three months! Let's see.....I'm missing chips and salsa, a really good margarita, a dryer so my clothes might be softer, milk, a car with a rear window wiper, a movie on T.V., a drive through anything....bank, restaurant, you name it! ......... :)
