Lynn and Judy enjoying a leisurely breakfast in Marrakech!
This photo is from last weekend in Marrakech. We stayed at a lovely place just on the edge of the city. This is one of the beautiful buildings on the grounds. They were serving a breakfast buffet inside. We wanted to enjoy the outside air, but decided it was chillier than we thought! But....didn't want to look like whimps....so stayed out and had our breakfast. Breakfast here usually includes lots of lovely fruits and lots of wonderful breads.....but a little lacking on any kind of protein! I'm starting to miss the rice and beans that we could always depend on in Uganda last year! :)
Today was a GOOD day! I finally got paid!!! I was able to pay off Marcia, my share of the car rent, my lunches at school and the use of the school vehicle from August when we used it. What a relief! And....I only had to go to the office (right....down two flights of steps and across the campus) twice to find the person in his office! :)
My co-worker (the other 2nd grade teacher), Gail, received a package today and was soooo tickled! She was bummed that it had been opened and taped shut, but happy to see the goodies her sister had sent. I guess I was given the wrong information. I can receive packages bigger than 5 pounds. BUT...do not say that the package is worth $100 or over.....$99 or less is okay. Marcia had to pay $80 to receive her package the other day that someone sent her. The person listed that the items were worth $100! ouch!!
I'm feeling pretty much back to normal today. Marcia is slowly getting there. Please pray for good health for the both of us. I wanted to say a big thank you to those people who are supporting me. That money is going to pay for my health insurance! I SO appreciate all of you and all of your prayers!
Off to work on homework! G'night! or should I say " Have a great afternoon!" :)
